Have you ever wondered what Percale Cotton really is?

If a fabric is 100% cotton, it means it is made exclusively out of cotton, which is a wider weave fabric.

Percale is a fabric which is made by interweaving threads (image attached). Percale can be made using only cotton thread, but other fibres may also be added. It is very common to see Percale with a satiny look, like satin fabric, giving the bed sheets a softer feel.

There is also 100% Percale Cotton, made only with cotton, making it softer than a fabric that is simply 100% cotton.
